(A) This Policy
This Privacy Policy(“Policy”) has been prepared by Hongkong Hello Tech Energy Co., Ltd. ,a Hong Kong corporation with principle offices located at Unit 38, 10/F, Block D, Mai Tak Industrial Building, No. 221 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (“Jackery”, “we”, “us” and “our”) and is addressed to individuals outside our organization with whom we interact, including customers, visitors to our website (“Site”), or recipients of any of our other services, personnel of corporate customers and vendors (together, “you”). Defined terms used in this Policy are explained in Section (N) below.
This Policy may be amended or updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices with respect to the Processing of Personal Information or changes in applicable law. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully, and to regularly check this page to review any changes we might make in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
You may also have certain rights regarding the information we collect about you. You can find information relating to your rights in Section (K) below.
Intended Audience of the Site: Our Site are not directed to children in your country or region. As a result, our Site do not request or knowingly collect Personal Information from a child. If you are a child, you should not visit or use this Site.

(B) Collection of Personal Information
Collection of Personal Information: We collect or obtain Personal Information about you from the following sources:
- Data provided to us: We obtain Personal Information when you provide it to us (e.g., when you contact us via email, telephone or by any other means).
- Data we obtain in person: We obtain Personal Information during meetings, at trade shows, during visits from sales or marketing representatives, or at events we attend.
- Collaborations: We obtain Personal Information when you collaborate with us in research or in an advisory/consultancy capacity.
- Relationship data: We collect or obtain Personal Information in the ordinary course of our relationship with you (e.g., we provide a service to you).
- Site data: We collect or obtain Personal Information when you visit our Site or use any features or resources available on or through our Site.
- Content and advertising information: If you interact with any third party content or advertising on our Site (including third party plugins and Cookies), we may receive Personal Information from the relevant third party provider of that content or advertising.
(C) Creation of Personal Information
We also create Personal Information about you in certain circumstances, such as records of your interactions with us, and details of your past interactions with us. We may also combine Personal Information from our Site or services, where those data are merely collected from different devices used to provide services.
(D) Categories of Personal Information and Purposes we Process
The categories and purposes for which we Process Personal Information, subject to applicable law, are as follows:

(E) Disclosure of Personal Information with third parties
We disclose Personal Information with other entities within the Jackery group in order to operate our Site and to provide our services to you, for the purposes described above.
In addition, in accordance with obligations under applicable privacy laws, we and our service providers may disclose your Personal Information with:
- you and, where appropriate, your appointed representatives;
- legal and regulatory authorities, upon request, or for the purposes of reporting any actual or suspected breach of applicable law or regulation or in response to a search warrant to other legally valid inquiry or order;
- accountants, auditors, consultants, lawyers and other outside professional advisors to Jackery, subject to binding contractual obligations of confidentiality;
- third party service providers, including cloud-based providers (such as analytics service providers; vendors that host our data; etc.), subject to the requirements noted below in this Section (E);
- any relevant party, regulatory body, governmental authority, law enforcement agency or court, to the extent necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- any relevant party, regulatory body, governmental authority, law enforcement agency or court, for the purposes of prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties;
- another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise may be required or permitted by applicable law or legal process, which may include lawful access by [Chinese or other foreign] courts, law enforcement or other government authorities.
- any relevant third party acquirer(s) or successor(s) in title, in the event that we sell or transfer all or any relevant portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution or liquidation), including a prospective transaction; and
- any relevant third party provider, where our Site use third party advertising, plugins or content. If you choose to interact with any such advertising, plugins or content, your Personal Information may be shared with the relevant third party provider. We recommend that you review that third party’s privacy policy before interacting with its advertising, plugins or content.
- International transfer of Personal Information
Because of the international nature of our business, we transfer Personal Information within the Jackery group, and to third parties as noted in Section (E) above, in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy. For this reason, we transfer Personal Information to other countries that may have different laws and data protection compliance requirements to those that apply in the country in which you are located. We, our affiliates and service providers may Process Personal Information outside the country in which you reside, including in [the Singapore, China ]
(G) Data security
We have implemented appropriate administrative, technical and physical security measures designed to protect your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, unauthorised access, and other unlawful or unauthorized forms of Processing, in accordance with applicable law.
Because the internet is an open system, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will implement all reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us using the internet – any such transmission is at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring that any Personal Information that you send to us are sent securely.
(H) Data accuracy
We take every reasonable step to ensure that:
- your Personal Information that we Process are accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; and
- any of your Personal Information that we Process that are inaccurate (having regard to the purposes for which they are Processed) are erased or rectified without delay.
From time to time we may ask you to confirm the accuracy of your Personal Information.
(I) Data minimization
We take every reasonable step to ensure that your Personal Information that we Process are limited to the Personal Information reasonably necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy.
(J) Data retention
We take every reasonable step to ensure that your Personal Information are only Processed for the minimum period necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. The criteria for determining the duration for which we will retain your Personal Information are as follows:
(1) we will retain Personal Information in a form that permits identification only for as long as: |
(a) we maintain an ongoing relationship with you (e.g., where you are a user of our services); or |
(b) your Personal Information are necessary in connection with the lawful purposes set out in this Policy, for which we have a valid legal basis (e.g., where your Personal Information are included in a contract between us and you, and we have a legitimate interest in Processing those Personal Information for the purposes of operating our business and fulfilling our obligations under that contract; or where we have a legal obligation to retain your Personal Information), |
plus: |
(2) the duration of: |
(a) any applicable limitation period under applicable law (i.e., any period during which any person could bring a legal claim against us in connection with your Personal Information, or to which your Personal Information are relevant); and |
(b) an additional two (2) month period following the end of such applicable limitation period (so that, if a person brings a claim at the end of the limitation period, we are still afforded a reasonable amount of time in which to identify any Personal Information that are relevant to that claim), |
and: |
(3) in addition, if any relevant legal claims are brought, we continue to Process Personal Information for such additional periods as are necessary in connection with that claim. |
During the periods noted in paragraphs (2)(a) and (2)(b) above, we will restrict our Processing of your Personal Information to storage of, and maintaining the security of, those data, except to the extent that those data need to be reviewed in connection with any legal claim, or any obligation under applicable law.
Once the periods in paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) above, each to the extent applicable, have concluded, we will either:
- permanently delete or destroy the relevant Personal Information; or
- anonymize the relevant Personal Information.
(K) Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding the Processing of your relevant Personal Information:
- the right not to provide your Personal Information to us (however, please note that we will be unable to provide you with the full benefit of our Site, or services, if you do not provide us with your Personal Information – e.g., we might not be able to process your requests without the necessary details);
- the right to request access to, or copies of, your relevant Personal Information, together with information regarding the nature, Processing and disclosure of those relevant Personal Information;
- the right to request rectification of any inaccuracies in your relevant Personal Information;
- the right to request, on legitimate grounds:
- erasure of your relevant Personal Information; or
- restriction of Processing of your relevant Personal Information;
- the right to have certain relevant Personal Information transferred to another controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, to the extent applicable;
- where we Process your relevant Personal Information on the basis of your consent, the right to withdraw that consent (noting that such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any Processing performed prior to the date on which we receive notice of such withdrawal, and does not prevent the Processing of your Personal Information in reliance upon any other available legal bases); and
- the right to lodge complaints regarding the Processing of your relevant Personal Information with a Data Protection Authority.
To exercise one or more of these rights, or to ask a question about these rights or any other provision of this Policy, or about our Processing of your Personal Information, please use the contact details provided in Section (M) below. Please note that:
- in some cases it will be necessary to provide evidence of your identity before we can give effect to these rights; and
- where your request requires the establishment of additional facts (e.g., a determination of whether any Processing is non-compliant with applicable law) ,we will investigate your request reasonably promptly, before deciding what action to take.
(L) Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
When you visit the Site, we, and our partner Shopify, may place cookies on your device, or read cookies already on your device, subject to compliance with applicable law. The duration of each cookie is set out in the table below.
We, and our partner Shopify, use cookies to, among other things, record information about your device, your browser and, in some cases, your browsing preferences and habits. These cookies are mainly used to optimize your navigation on the Site and allow you to access certain services on the Site. Other cookies are used for statistical purposes and audience measurement. The detail of the purpose of each cookie is set out in the table below. We process your Personal Information through cookies and similar technologies in accordance with applicable laws.
